I am trying to becoming a part time domain name collector. I already have a pretty nice collection of high quality domain names. I got interested in this because i read an article about Kevin Ham not to long ago. I think it was an article in Business 2.0 or something like that. Anyway, this guy might become the first domain name billionaire. Yup! That’s a thousand millions. How can domain names be worth so much. Well, you have to think of it like it’s real estate. You have to compare the good domains to condos facing Central Park. Premium domains are like 90210 properties. The internet economy works because of traffic. Advertiser are now recognizing that the future of media is switching online. Kids are spending more and more time in front of their computer as opposed to the television.

In the near future, the desktop or laptop or iphone will replace the television as the media player of choice. I figure that i am going into domain name investing a bit late. But when i think about it, i’m not really. It’s still early in the game and i think i can do well for myself with these investments.
