I’ve been reading up on make money online blogs recently. I think that it’s a great way to do something that you enjoy, and make money off of it. I’ve been reading blogs like bloggernoob.com and i’ve come to the conclusion that blogging can be profitable. I know that blogging takes a lot of time, but then i would do this for free anyway. Might as well try to make a few bucks.
There are a lot of blogs that try to teach you how to make money online. But most of these blogs sucks. Most of these blogs are scam like blogs. They are not honest with the ways in which you can monetize your blog. That’s why i like bloggernoob dot com. The blogger on that blog tries to be honest. His posts are also pretty funny. He holds a lot of contests and gets involved with his readers. I’ve seen his blog grow and now i am ready to start. I was interested in buying a blog that already makes money, but we’ll see if i can turn this blog into that type of blog. Stay tuned.

I don’t consider myself a painter or a sculptor, but i do consider myself to be an artist. Why? Because i think that i have a creative mind. I think art can be anything. You don’t have to sell anything artist to be an artist. But, society thinks differently. Money has to exchange hands in order for you to be considered an artist. That got me to thinking about the idea of wanting and buying art.
When a business sells, the buyer usually looks over the books of the previous year. They need that info to valuate the business. This is also true with internet businesses. Websites can fetch anywhere from 10 -36 months of income. So if a website makes $1,000 a month, that site could sell for $10,000-$36,000.
What if, the sales record was fake. What if those paypal payments were made by you or one of your friends. It is easy to set up a ring where you just push around the same money to each other. If i have 20 friends who each own online businesses, we can push each other $1,000 every month. All you would need is 1 thousand dollars to create 20 businesses that each make $1000/month. Food for thought the next time you want to buy online businesses.
Moving on, let’s focus our attention back on art. With that same idea, could the price of a piece of art be gamed in the same manner. Couldn’t a group of collectors just push each other that work of art and each time, increase the price?

I mentioned before that i am starting to get into the domaining. I like domain names as an investment because they are relatively cheap and the potential is huge. It’s also much more tangable then stocks or bonds. For one, you can control each and every one of your domain name. You can decide if you want to set up a website or just keep it for later development. You can also buy and sell domains without paying high commissions.
I wanted to talk about domain transfers. Buying and selling domains is really simple. You can register a domain at a registrar like godaddy. You can buy them on auction sites like ebay. You can even pick up expired domain via tdnam. When you buy domains from auctions, you will come across sites that you never heard of. These are domain resellers who are housing their domain on their reseller plan. I don’t like buying from these guys. It’s a drag cause i usually transfer my domains from them. I used to think that transferring domain names were a waste of money. But it really isn’t cause you get an year extension on that domain. So it’s actually like renewing the domain. You going to renew anyway, might as well transfer the domain name to a registrar that you like. Or at least a major domain registrar.

I am trying to becoming a part time domain name collector. I already have a pretty nice collection of high quality domain names. I got interested in this because i read an article about Kevin Ham not to long ago. I think it was an article in Business 2.0 or something like that. Anyway, this guy might become the first domain name billionaire. Yup! That’s a thousand millions. How can domain names be worth so much. Well, you have to think of it like it’s real estate. You have to compare the good domains to condos facing Central Park. Premium domains are like 90210 properties. The internet economy works because of traffic. Advertiser are now recognizing that the future of media is switching online. Kids are spending more and more time in front of their computer as opposed to the television.
In the near future, the desktop or laptop or iphone will replace the television as the media player of choice. I figure that i am going into domain name investing a bit late. But when i think about it, i’m not really. It’s still early in the game and i think i can do well for myself with these investments. If you want more info about buying domain names, check out dnjournal.

Welcome to want it buy it dot com. This blog is going to showcase a lot of the stuff that you want to buy. I will list deals and specials. I will try to dig out promo codes and online deals. I’ll look for the cool stuff that i want, and maybe you guys will want it to. I think the internet is a great place to find cool gadgets. Buying stuff online is way cheaper then buying something at a brick and mortar store. As time passes, more and more people will start buying things online. The only problem right now is the wait period. People in America want things now. They want instant gratification. They don’t want to wait for stuff. Even if it’s only for a couple of days, they don’t want to wait.
I have this problem too sometimes. I go into a store and i want to buy something. Even tho i know that the same product is cheaper at an online store, i’ll buy that product. It’s cause i want to go hope and open it up. I want to play with the new toy right away. We are living in a wantitbuyit period. That is why i set up this blog. I wanted to teach myself and others to control these urges for instant consumer gratification. This will save money and it will make us more disciplined. Thanks for visiting wantitbuyit dot com. I hope you guys will reture.
